Rocky Mountain Altitude Carbon 70 Coil
$9,399.00 - $9,559.00
The Altitude will be our key platform for enduro racing and aggressive trail riding. Ridden by the Rocky Mountain Race Face Enduro Team, this bike is fast. Already race proven with Jesse's win at the EWS in Zermatt, the redesigned Altitude is now more capable than ever. The goal with the redesign was to create a bike that would be competitive on today's racetracks while still being a ton of fun for those getting out on weekends. We might not all smash racetracks and stand on podiums like Jesse Melamed, but we can all relate to the feeling of committing to ride a little faster or hitting that feature you usually skip over. The Altitude has everything that you need to take your riding to the next level. Looking at the needs of shorter riders vs. taller riders, we've introduced a wheel size split on our medium Altitude frame. The Altitude is designed high speed descending and aggressive riding, which is why we've offered four frame sizes including both sizes small and medium with 27.5" wheels. Wheel size: Sizes Small – Medium: 27.5-inch Sizes Medium – X-Large: 29-inch - All new frame, ground-up design - The platform of choice for the Rocky Mountain / Race Face Enduro Team - Updated suspension, geometry & features - Adjustable chainstay length to suit the rider - Kinematics, fit & wheel size-adjusted per size - Special edition: coil sprung for smashing the trails Size Specific tune SUSPENSION: Size Specific Tune ensures that riders of all sizes get the right balance of small-bump compliance, mid-stroke support, and end-stroke progressiveness. Our design team does custom shock tunes based on real-world field testing and adjusts each tune for specific frame sizes. FORM alloy FRAME CONSTRUCTION: FORM tubesets utilize premium materials to meet our strict requirements. Each FORM tube that we create is engineered for its specific purpose within the frame, ensuring optimized strength, weight, and ride quality. RIDE-9 adjustment system GEOMETRY: The RIDE-9 adjustment system allows riders to quickly fine-tune their geometry and suspension with a pair of Allen keys. Nine configurations are possible thanks to two interlocking chips. Adjust your RIDE-9 position for geometry before considering suspension effects, or variables like air pressure and shock compression. Make gradual, incremental changes, take notes, and be methodical. Don't adjust in a hurry before a big ride. Take your time and enjoy the process. Smoothlink suspension SUSPENSION: Smoothlink suspension is efficient yet supple when you're on the pedals and across a wide range of gears. It features a controlled end-stroke and a rate-curve that feels more capable than the travel would suggest. This four-bar suspension design philosophy is centered on ride characteristics; each bike platform we develop balances variables like anti-squat, axle path, chain growth, rate curve, anti-rise, etc. to achieve the legendary Rocky Mountain ride feel. Smoothwall carbon FRAME CONSTRUCTION: Smoothwall carbon uses one of the world's most sophisticated carbon processes to deliver industry-leading stiffness-to-weight, ride quality, and durability. We eliminate excess resin and fibers by using rigid internal molds instead of traditional air bladders. We then utilize different types of carbon in specific frame areas to maximize stiffness and impact resistance while minimizing overall weight.

Kona Process 153
$4,699.00
The perfect Goldilocks bike between the Process 134 and Process X, the Process 153 hits all the sweet spots at a very budget-friendly price. The 160/153mm front and rear suspension gives you unwavering reliability on tricky descents while still climbing with ease. It's spec'd with everything you need and nothing you don't. Strong brakes, dependable suspension and grippy tires equal the perfect all-around package. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. For 2017, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. BEAMER INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION Built to be off-the-top progressive, Beamer Independent Suspension helps the bike to stay higher in the travel and recover from hits more quickly. The Operators are instilled with what our product managers like to call "pure shock movement," whereby the shock is protected from side load. Designed to be highly tuneable and extremely durable, the Beamer IS is our version of greased lightning.
Ibis Ripley AF Deore
$4,899.99
The Ripley AF is our beloved, category-defying, short-travel, singletrack-scorching Ripley-rendered in aluminum, with more aggressive geometry. All the sizzle and pop of the carbon Ripley, now available as a complete bike at a wallet-friendly price. MODERN GEOMETRY, PRECISE HANDLING A trail-friendly 65.5-degree head angle and short (44mm) offset 130mm fork, combined with 29" wheels makes for a super planted but still playful front-end feel. A 76-degree seat angle puts your power directly to the pedals, while the short chainstays and pedal-friendly dw-link kinematics deliver that power without squandering a single watt. DW LINK SUSPENSION Our 15-year collaboration with Dave Weagle has yielded yet another bike with unparalleled climbing efficiency and traction. Incredible snap and responsiveness are its trademarks, and a whole mess of plush, chunder-eating, downhill-crushing goodness gets thrown in for good measure. Wrap that together and you get the best suspension you'll find anywhere. It's that good. LONG DROPPER POST The Ripley AF frame is designed with clearance for long droppers in mind. PICK YOUR SIZE We use words like small, medium, and large to describe our sizing, because it's easy to understand, but our ultra-low standovers give you the ability to size your frame based on reach and preference. 2.6" TIRE CLEARANCE We pioneered the wide rim revolution a few years ago and inspired a new crop of wider 2.4" – 2.6" tires. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra-low pressures that produce elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing speed. REMOVABLE ISCG-05 MOUNT. There if you want it, removable if you don't.
Ibis Ripmo AF SLX
$5,950.00
Active ingredients include: 29" wheels, berm-defying cornering tendencies, and a love for long rides. The Ripmo AF (Aluminum Frame) brings the award-winning performance of the carbon Ripmo to a wider, rowdier audience. It's everything we love from the carbon Ripmo, plus a few tweaks. IT'S METAL Over our long tenure from mountain biking's awkward adolescence to its current anything-shreddy era, we've experimented with steel, aluminum, and titanium-remember the Bow-Ti, the first superbike? We remember the metal times, too, and it feels good to offer a premium ride experience to our broadening family of riders, courtesy of durable, affordable aluminum alloy. MODERN GEOMETRY With a steep, 76-degree seat tube angle and a rangy but not stratospheric reach, the Ripmo AF places riders centrally and upright over the bottom bracket. It makes for an efficient position that can go the long haul without placing too much weight on its slack, 64.9-degree headtube angle. A 44mm reduced-offset fork is more surefooted on steep descents and steadies high speeds. Better up, better down. DW LINK Since 2005, we've partnered with suspension guru, Dave Weagle, on the dw-link suspension platform. It provides an unparalleled combination of climbing efficiency and downhill performance, which has been proven repeatedly at the highest levels of racing. COIL COMPATIBLE The Ripmo AF is compatible with both coil and air shocks due to a more progressive leverage rate. It allows for coil's linearity to thrive and we spec air shocks with tunes that provide pop without feeling too harsh. On the trail, it gives the suspension a supple feel throughout the entirety of the stroke, enhancing traction no matter how deep you dig. DVO Now that we made the frames leverage rate progressive enough for a coil we had to find a coil shock that could handle the increased stress of being driven off of a clevis. The DVO JadeX is up to the challenge so the Ripmo AF comes with custom-tuned DVO suspension. 2.6" TIRE CLEARANCE Ibis helped pioneer the wide rim revolution, which inspired the new crop of wider 2.4" – 2.6" tires. When paired together, this combo can be run at ultra-low pressures, which results in elbow-dragging cornering traction without sacrificing straight-line speed. PICK YOUR SIZE We use words like small, medium, and large to describe our sizing, because it's easy to understand, but our ultra-low standovers give you the ability to size your frame based on reach and preference. LONG DROPPER POST What's better than a dropper post? A longer one. Our frames are designed to accommodate the longest dropper posts possible. Riders over 5'8" (or 173cm) can easily run a 185mm dropper post, while folks between 5' and 5'8" (152cm – 172cm) can use a post 125mm or longer, depending on inseam length. REMOVABLE ISCG05 MOUNT Our optional ISCG 05 mount is there if you want it, removable if you don't.
